Network Care combines the practices of Network Spinal Analysis (NSA) and Somato Respiratory Integration (SRI). NSA is an advanced, holistic, chiropractic approach to healing the spine and nerve system in order to improve your overall level of health and your quality of life using gentle precise touch to the spine. SRI is a system of 12 Body/Mind/Breath exercises that help to identify the somatic anchors of past traumas that our body has not released.
Through NSA, people develop two healing waves associated with profound improvements in health and wellness. The respiratory wave is the first wave to develop in your body and occurs when the breath is fully present in all parts of your spine. It helps you connect more fully with your body and releases stress.
The second type of wave is the somatopsychic wave and is associated with muscular contraction which pulsates and organizes various spinal segments into a fluid wave-like coordinated motion. It is a highly evolved response by the nervous system, and helps bring up trauma from deep places, transforming it into energy to be used by the body to heal. The somatopsychic wave serves to ‘destabilize the armor’ between different parts of yourself, helping to retrieve those parts that have been traumatized, alienated, abused or unaccepted.
As they progress along a person’s spine, it revitalizes, energizes, and helps the body to self-correct distortions of alignment and posture. They move “stuck energy” and are a resource of new energy and vitality. Specific breath, movement, and energy rhythms naturally emerge as these waves develop. These SRI rhythms are connected with different internal states of consciousness and support the advancement of the next strategy in NSA. When combined, NSA and SRI together promote improvements in all aspects of our wellbeing. Both approaches work together to release a body from stress and pain and to harness the power of the mind-body connection.
